【Product List】
【Compatibility】
Compatible with B100 charging only. Not compatible with B2.
【Instructions For Use】
Our product manuals have instructions on which charger specifications are required. Please use a charger and charging cable that supports PD3.0 and 20V-5A.
BD3 display:
Connecting to power: only the W symbol in the upper right corner is displayed.
Connecting to battery: starts to distribute power and jumps to displaying power level after about 10 seconds. After that, it jumps to power and charges every 3 seconds.
Note:
The FAST and lightning symbols on the display are text only and do not have a light-up or wake-up function.
【Cannot Charge Battery】
1. Is the W symbol on the display illuminated? If not, please check the charger or USB cable.
2. If the display is normal, the battery can be charged. The battery that is not charging is very low and has entered a protective state. The battery needs to be charged directly using the USB for about 10 minutes.
If the B100 is completely discharged and not fully recharged before storage, when using the BD3 to charge the B100, you need to first use the Quest's charger and charging cable to charge the B100 for half an hour. After half an hour, you can then use the BD3 for charging.
【Protective】
In addition to the B100's own protection functions, the BD3 also has these protection functions: over-range temperature protection, over-charging protection, over-current protection, short-circuit protection, temperature protection, and self-stop when full.
【Battery Shows Less Than 100% When Fully Charged 】
When the battery reaches 100%, charging will automatically stop in about 10 minutes.
At this point, if the battery has been stored on the BD3 for a long period of time, but there is a slight loss of power due to the continuous monitoring of power, temperature, etc., it may result in the power level will be reduced to 99% or lower.
【Zipping Sound When Charging】
This is because of the poor quality of the charger performance: the charger itself emits a nuisance sound, BD3 emits a nuisance sound, the main reason is that the actual power of the charger is not up to the indicated power, or the output ripple is large caused by.
The charger must be replaced.
【Unstable Power?】
There can be several reasons for power fluctuations:
1. When the battery level is below 2%, it does not charge at full power. The power automatically adjusts when the battery level increases, and it also automatically reduces charging power when the battery level reaches about 80%.
2.Charging stops when the battery temperature is below -20 or above 60 degrees Celsius, and resumes automatically when the temperature returns to normal.
The above are normal charging controls. The following are abnormal:
1. Poor-quality chargers cannot provide sufficient power according to the protocol, even if the power is automatically adjusted, leading to power fluctuations. The charger must be replaced.
2. Using excessively long USB cables or adapters causes high power loss, resulting in insufficient power.
3. Poor-quality chargers may also exhibit the following symptoms: the charger or the device emits a buzzing sound. This is mainly because the actual power of the charger does not meet the nominal power or due to large output ripple. The charger must be replaced.
