Q: Is the D3 compatible with different head straps?
Yes, the D3 features a flexible base that accommodates various head strap models. It can support Quest 3 at different tilt angles, as long as the headset remains securely on the base.
Q: Can the D3 charge Quest 3 with a facial interface attached?
We've confirmed compatibility with the official Meta Quest face cover. While we can't guarantee compatibility with all third-party interfaces, our upcoming BOBOVR facial interface will be fully compatible :D
Q: Does the D3 work only with specific controller grips?
The D3 is optimized for G3 Plus grips. Due to the variety of grips on the market, we can't guarantee perfect compatibility with all models.
Q: Are rechargeable batteries included for the controllers?
Yes, the D3 comes with rechargeable batteries for the controllers.
Q: What's the capacity of the controller batteries and how long do they last?
The rechargeable batteries for controllers have a nominal capacity of 800mAh at 1.5V. When fully charged, the controllers can be used continuously for over 24 hours.
Q: Can I use Quest 3's original charger with the D3?
While the original Quest 3 charger will work, we recommend using a 45W charger for the best charging experience and faster charging times.
Q: Can the D3 Charging Dock simultaneously charge the B100 battery when it's attached to the S3 Pro?
No, the S3 Pro cannot reverse charge. The B100 battery needs to be placed directly on the Charging Dock to be charged.

So, what can i say. Nice package, +- fast shipping. Build fine and from nice materials. Sometimes hard to find perfeckt spot to charge headset, but overrall, nice to have. P.S. It would be nice if in package was charger included and cabel was littlebit longer.

Good dock. But I echo the issue with the mating interface to charge headset itself. You need to adjust the headstrap to find the sweet spot to balance it and hope the headset stays there to charge it. Also hope that Bobovr comes out with a redesign or an official mod/upgrade kit that fixes this issue.

The dock form factor, grips, built in battery charger and the compatibility with the BoboVR headstraps are fantastic. One semi-major complaint is that the headset charging connectors do NOT make contact with the AMVR facial interface installed, if you have that as a 3rd party add on. I've fiddled around with it with hours and cannot get it to contact. It does connect normally with the standard headset that comes with the Quest 3. Your options at that point become removing/reseating the AMRV interface before and after each use (no thanks), keeping the battery fully charged and let it power the Q3, or run an additional power cord to charge the headset separately. A shame this one design flaw could not have been incorporated into an otherwise best-in-class charging dock.

ok if you're reading this, then my original 3 star rating got suppressed- so reposting it as a 5. My major issue is how poorly designed the mating interface for the headset itself. You have to find the sweet spot and hope the headset stays there to charge. I hope Bobovr comes out with a redesign or an official mod/upgrade kit that fixes this issue. Other than that, good dock.
