FAQ

Q： Why does my Quest 3/3S battery stop charging at 80% while I'm using it with a BOBOVR battery strap?

When you use your Quest 3 or Quest 3S while charging (On-Head), the internal system is designed to stop charging the battery at around 80% capacity for safety reasons. Here's what happens:

If your Quest starts below 80%, it will charge up to ~80% and then hold there—your BOBOVR battery (B2) will take over to power the system. For example, charging from 60% will stop at 80%, and the BOBOVR battery will slowly drain instead.
If your Quest starts above 80%, it won't charge further—the BOBOVR battery will directly power the headset while keeping your Quest's battery level steady. For instance, starting at 90% means it stays around 90%, while the BOBOVR battery drains to keep the headset running.

Note: If you're not wearing the headset, it will charge to 100% capacity.

Very comfortable accessory compared to the abysmal supplied Meta 3 strap. The extra battery extends play by about 40 minutes which is good however there is no height adjustment on the top pads, so to stop the eye frame resting on the bottom of my cheeks I've placed a spacer underneath the pads to lift the headset about half an inch, Which has transformed it into a much more comfortable experience.

I can compare only with the default Meta Quest 3 strap and in comparison with it this strap is superb. The main reason I decided to replace the default strap is that with default strap I had pressure on my forehead which caused a headache. This strap solved my problem plus it's easier to put on. Extra battery is useful too tho. I really advise it to anyone who experiencing forehead pressure with default strap

I purchased 2 of these for my Quest 3 and my S3. Absolutely love the product! I have 2 quest 2’s and have used BOBOVR heads traps on both of those as well. I highly recommend. They are comfortable and simple to attach to the headset! If i ever purchase another headset i will definitely be buying or looking for the BOBOVR equipment to go with it. In my opinion it is way better than the elite strap. I much prefer the rechargeable battery packs.
